Chillicothe Police Report Includes One Arrest
The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 104 calls for service Tuesday.
At about midnight, officers investigated a barking dog complaint in the 400 block of Webster. The dog was taken inside.
There were no injuries in an accident in the 1000 block of North Washington at about 8:50 am. A driver changed lanes and struck another vehicle.
About 9:30, officers took a report of burglary in the 1100 block of Calhoun, where the owner reported tools had been stolen. Police had recovered tools Monday and confirmed the tools were the ones stolen and they were returned.
About 11:40, officers investigated an accident in a parking lot at Locust and Jackson. No injuries were reported.
About 4:45 pm, officers arrested Thomas Woody on a Linn County warrant for alleged delivery of a controlled substance, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,000 Cash Only.
About 9:20 pm, officers assisted EMS with a call at 100 Herriford. While at the home, they saw significant code violations and they are reported to the City Codes Office.
