Stolen Gun and One Arrest In Police Report

Chillicothe Police received 91 calls for service Thursday.  They continue to field complaints of use of fireworks.  Residents are reminded the dates fireworks may be used in Chillicothe are July 1st through the 4th.  Some of the other calls for service include:

1:30 pm, Officers took a report of a stolen handgun. The owner was not sure where they were when the 45 caliber semi-auto pistol was stolen. The investigation continues.

3:15 pm, Officers assisted another agency in locating a vehicle in Chillicothe. The vehicle was located and information passed along to owner on how to pick it up.

6:55 pm, a Livingston Co. Deputy reported seeing a man with an active warrant.  About 90 minutes later the man was found in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers arrested Detrii Hyatt on a warrant for alleged endangering the welfare of a child.  He is held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond set at $7,500 Cash.

8:15 pm, Officer towed a vehicle from the 1400 block of Polk St.
