Chillicothe Police Have Busy Weekend
Chillicothe Police report about 140 calls for service over the weekend. Those calls include:
12:58 AM, Officers responded to the 300 block of Dickinson for a noise complaint of fireworks. Those responsible were advised of the fireworks ordinance.
10:30 AM, Officers recovered a debit card in the 400 block of Business 36.
3:30 PM, Officers responded to a property dispute in the 100 block of Polk Street.
12:56am, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Springhill on a report of noises in a vacant apartment. The check found nothing that created the noise.
12:15 pm, Officers checked a parking complaint in the 400 block of Grandview. Vehicle was moved.
1:20 pm, Officers assisted another agency with a reported incident involving possible kidnapping. They found the incident had occurred on an earlier date and provided that info to the other agency.
6:10 pm, conducted a Well-being check in the 1200 block of Alexander. No-one was at the home, they were located later and had been visiting a local nursing home facility.
7:10 pm, officers responded to a fight in the parking lot of a restaurant located in the1000 block of Washington St. One vehicle was stopped as it was leaving the scene. The other vehicle was not located. The fight was over an unpaid debt.
9:00 pm, Officer spoke with a resident of the 400 block of Vine St. in reference neighbor issues. Several suggestions were given.
