Chillicothe Police report
The Chillicothe Police responded to 102 calls for service Friday, they included several reports of fireworks used in the city limits. Chillicothe police remind residents the time for using fireworks inside the city limits ended on July 4th. Other calls include:
8:29am, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Williams Street. It was determined that the disturbance was verbal and no arrest was made.
4:49, Officer responded to an illegally parked vehicle in the 1000 block of Grandview Street. Officer placed a 24 hour notice to move the vehicle, on the vehicle.
6:59pm, Officers assisted a stranded motorist in removing their vehicle from the roadway at Ann & Washington Sts.
8:09pm, Officers responded to a business on Business 36 West to a cell phone 911 call. The owner of the phone was contacted and stated that everything was OK.
9:01pm, Report of a vehicle with kids going in and out of it at a parking lot on Business 36 West. Contact was made with the owner and it is broken down. Parked there with permission and will be moved tomorrow.
10:10pm, Officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Clay Street to what was reported as possibly a small dog crying in distress. Officers unable to locate the animal…
10:47pm, Officer provided a courtesy ride to a mother and son who had become stranded at Hedrick Medical Center when their ride never came back.
