Chillicothe Police Report

The Police Report for Saturday included numerous calls for illegal use of fireworks.  Several citations were issued.  Other items in the report include:

1:10am, Complaint of loud music in the 300 block of Dickinson. Residents were contacted and turned the music down.

8:49am, Officer responded to the 400 block of Webster on a constantly barking dog. The owner was contacted and took the dog inside.

12:38pm, Officers were dispatched to a traffic crash at Polk St. and Easton St. that happened during a funeral escort.  Vehicles were towed, but there were no injuries.

1:34pm, Officers responded to a shoplifting incident in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Jacquelyn Wilkerson was arrested, processed and released.

5:45pm, Officer made a traffic stop on Bryan and Locust and arrested Gayla Baker for alleged Driving while suspended. Baker was processed and released.

7:10pm, Officers responded to 425 Clay Street on a report of a subject creating a disturbance and threatening to hurt himself. When officers arrived, the subject became resistive and assaulted two officers.  That person was taken into custody and transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.  The officers involved received minor injuries.  Following treatment, the subject was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
