Sheriff Seeks Charges In May “Grass Fire”

Investigation of a Grass Fire in May leads to possible charges.  The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department responded with the Dawn Fire Department on May 25th for a fire on LIV 431.  Sheriff Steve Cox says when the deputy arrived, the fire was rather small and appeared to have intentionally been set.

The investigation included the Sheriff’s office and Missouri Fire Marshall and Cox says it resulted in the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department  seeking criminal charges against a Dawn resident.
