Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday & Thursday

The Chillicothe Police report for Wednesday and Thursday includes more than 220 calls for service and two arrests.  Some of the calls in the report include:

Wednesday:
5:15 am, Officers called to the 1000 block of Olive Street on a report of two vehicles broken into and items stolen.

11:09 am, Officers took a report of a fraud in the 400 block of Clay.

1:35 pm, Officers investigated a report of a burn ban violation in the 500 block of Elmdale Rd. The resident was advised of the burn ban and put out the fire.

1:49 pm, Officers were dispatched with Animal Control to a report of animal neglect in the 1200 block of Webster Street.

Thursday:
About 11:00 am, Officers arrested Nathan Jones in the 10 block of Washington Street on a Linn County probation/parole. Jones was released to a Linn County Deputy.

4:00 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of animal abuse in the 300 block of Polk Street. The investigation is ongoing.

4:25 pm, Officers took a report of a Debit card that was reported stolen in Cameron earlier, was used at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.

4:28 pm, Kegan McCracken surrendered himself to Police on a Chillicothe Municipal Warrant for alleged failure to appear on a traffic violation. He posted bond and was released.
