Livingston County Fair Sale Nearly $130,000
The Livingston County 4H and FFA Fair ended Friday night with the annual Market Sale. This is a premium sale, which means the bids and purchases are to support the youth in their project to raise and show the animals. The youth showing the animal keep that animal so they can continue to show them at the state fair and other shows. This year’s sale included 194 animals and totaled $129,800, for an average per animal of $669.
Fair Board President Shane Baxter says
“Livingston County 4-H & FFA youth continue to be strongly supported by the area businesses and individuals who made our Livestock Sale such a success again this year. As a Fair Board, we recognize and appreciate the life lessons that support and commitment helps provide for our youth thru the Sale. “
Baxter says the entire fair was a huge success, starting with the Tractor Pull.
The Fair Board will meet next month to review the fair and begin plans for next year.
