Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

Chillicothe police responded to several calls for service.  The calls included several domestic disturbances.  Other calls include:

12:36 am, Officers were provided with what is determined to be a false driver’s license that a woman had attempted to use to buy alcohol at a local convenience store. A suspect was identified and investigation continuing…

4:41 am, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves St. to a reported shoplifter.  The person was arrested, processed and released…

2:02 pm, Officers responded to the intersection of Park Lane and Morningside Drive for a two vehicle accident where one vehicle had back into another.  Both vehicles had minor damage and no injuries were reported.

8:52 pm, officers were called to the Central School playground where there was a report of several people there with a gun.  Two subjects were taken into custody and it was found that the gun was a real-looking handgun that shoots B-Bs.  Both were arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

11:12pm, Responded to 218 Jackson St., report of someone ringing doorbell…no one found and determined that doorbell was shorting out.
