August 7th Primary & Absentee Voting
The August Primary Election is August 7th. This is an opportunity to cast a ballot on one state wide issue – Proposition A – Right To Work. It is also an opportunity to narrow the party races for various election at the local, state and national level. Registered voters will be able to cast a ballot at their regular poling places on August 7th. If you are unable to make it to the polls on August 7th, you can still cast an absentee ballot at your county clerk’s office.
Livingston County Election authority Sherry Parks says they will be open regular hours and there will be some extended or special house before the election.
Whether you are voting absentee or going to the polls on Tuesday, you will need to follow the new “Show It To Vote” rules this year.
If you have questions, call your County Clerk. In Livingston County, call 646-8000, extension 3.
