A Milan teen was injured in a rollover accident in Dekalb County Thursday afternoon. Fifteen year old Perla Acosta of Milan was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital with moderate injuries following the accident on US 36, 2 miles west of Osborne. The accident happened about 3:30 pm, as Acosta was eastbound on US 36 and ran into the median. She overcorrected and crossed the eastbound lanes, went off the southside of the road and her Jeep overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side. She was wearing a safety belt.
