Rulo Ready For Hornets Football Season

It’s been a summer of change for Chillicothe Hornets Football with a new coaching staff and new methods of preparation. New Head Coach Tim Rulo discussed several of those changes with players and their parents in a Sunday meeting.

Coach Rulo said the summer has gone smoothly for him and the players.

Rulo covered a variety of topics with players and their parents during the meeting, including Varsity and lower level teams schedules, his coaching philosophy, player expectations, academic policy, and more.

Rulo says he is impressed by the players work ethic.

29 players qualified for the new “Hornet Elite Club” based on attendance at summer football events. Each pre-season practice schedule is five hours long. The first hour will be in meetings and film in the gym, then a required one hour of down time which includes snacks and other activities, followed by a three hour practice on the field from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
