Tax Rate Hearing On Chillicothe City Council Agenda

The Chillicothe City Council will consider setting the 2018 tax rate at Monday’s meeting, following a public hearing.

The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at City Hall and will start with the payment of bills and consideration of a bid to remove asbestos at the old CMU Steam Plant.

A Public Hearing is scheduled to consider setting the 2018 Tax Rate at .8862 per $100 valuation.  That is an increase of .0003 from the current rate.  The new rate includes.6917 for General Revenue and .1945 for Parks and Recreation.

An ordinance will be presented to approve the tax rate.

The Codes Director will present an ordinance to change the zoning for property at 209 Henry Street from Public Use to Mixed Use, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Mayor Dupy will present his recommendation for an appointment to the Board of Adjustments.
