Police Handle Noise Complaints And Make A Couple Arrests

Chillicothe Police were busy Saturday, including early morning noise complaints.

1:36 AM, Officers received noise complaint in the 300 block of Dickinson.  A second call to the same location came about 2:00 am and a third call at 3:15 am.  As a result, the resident was cited for peace disturbance and no further complaints were received.

11:10 AM, Officers responded to a business in the 700 block of Elm Street for a theft report.  A juvenile was taken into custody for theft and later released to the parents.  Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

6:10 PM, Officers responded to an alarm at the Livingston County Courthouse.  Officers located an open door and searched the building, finding no one was in the building.  Officer contacted a Deputy to secure the door.

11:00 PM, Officers were called to the 1400 block of Broadway to a report of an odor of marijuana.  They arrested one person for possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  The person was processed and released.
