Arrests For Child Abuse In Chillicothe Police Report

Chillicothe’s Police Report for Friday includes 93 calls for service and four arrests.

At about 9:45 am, officers investigated a report of possible child abuse at the Chillicothe Middle School.  The investigation led to two individuals brought to the police department and after further investigation they were arrested and held at the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers arrested Matthew Brett Curtis at the Probation and Parole office on a Parole Violation Warrant.  He was held at the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail.

Officers were called to a business in the 700 block of Webster for a package that was marked return to sender after it had been refused at a State Correction Center.  The package was not sent by the business.

Stolen medication was reported at a location in the 500 block of Mohawk.

At about 7:40 pm, officers were called to the 1000 block of Graves Street for alleged shoplifting.  They arrested a woman, who was processed and released.
