Chillicothe City Council Has Three Portions To Monday’s Meeting

The Chillicothe City Council has a public hearing, finance workshop and regular council meeting Monday evening in Council Chambers.

The Public Hearing is Monday at 5:30 pm in the council chambers and is for the distribution of $244,517.88 of Capital Improvement Funds for the purchase of new radios for the Chillicothe Police and Fire Departments.

Following the Public Hearing, the Finance Workshop will be held for the presentation of the 2017/18 Audit.

At 6:30 is the regular Council Meeting.  The agenda includes the payment of salaries and invoices for the City and CMU.

Appearances include CMU General Manager Jim Gillilan for an ordinance to extend the water tower attachment agreement with Verizon Wireless.

Gillilan will also have a presentation on the purchase of the new digital controls for the diesel generators for the Electric generating department.

City Administrator Darin Chappell will have a discussion and ordinance for the DigiTICKET software for the Chillicothe Police Department.

An executive session is planned to follow the regular meeting.
