The Chillicothe City Council approved two items for CMU as part of their meeting Monday.
CMU General Manager Jim Gillilan presented the contract with Verizon for a 25 year extension of the contract to have cell phone antennas on the water tower near Green Hills Golf Course.
He says that contract will pay for the maintenance and painting of the water towers over the period.
The Council also approved a contract for the Diesel Generator controls replacement requested by Gillilan.
Both contracts were approved unanimously.
