digiTICKET Software Approved For Chillicothe Police

A software package needed for the Chillicothe Police Department’s new in car computers was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday.  The package known as DigiTicket was part of the communication upgrade for the Emergency Services Departments at a previous meeting.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says the contract approved for DigiTicket is for the software and interface to operate with their current system.

Police Chief Jon Maples says with the software, the officers will be able to do more of their reporting work from the vehicle instead of having to come back to the office.  He says that means officers are out on the street more, providing better services to the community.
