A Jamesport man was injured in a one vehicle accident in Daviess County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a vehicle drive by 52 year old David Kauffman of Jamesport was on 190 a mile south of Jamesport when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the road and ran off the side of the road, hit a mailbox, a wooden walkway and a driveway. The vehicle then went airborne, overturned multiple times striking several small trees before coming to rest partly on a fence.
Kauffman was taken by Life Flight to Truman Medical Center with serious injuries.
