Teen Sentenced To 15 Years For Assault – Sentence Suspended

A 16 year old Chillicothe boy, who was certified to stand trial as an adult, was sentenced to 15 years in Prison after pleading guilty to charges 1st Degree Assault that occurred in February.  Matthew Ryan Miller plead guilty to his part in the crime that occurred February 2nd, south of the railroad bridge on LIV 238.

On August 15th, Miller entered the guilty plea and a sentencing hearing was held Tuesday and Judge Thomas Chapman handed down the 15 year sentence, which was suspended.  He then placed Miller on 5 years of supervised probation.
