Chillicothe Police Report Includes Dog Bites

Several investigations in the Chillicothe Police Department report for Thursday.

6:20 am, Officers responded to the area of Calhoun and Locust to a report of someone walking down the middle of the street.

7:15 am, Officers responded to the 400 block of Locust St on a report of someone vandalizing fresh concrete.  The investigation continuing.

9:00 am, Officers responded to the Jackson Street Railroad track area in reference a utility pole that had been struck by an unknown vehicle. The pole owned by AT&T was completely broken and the upper portion was held in the air by the cables.

10:30 am, Officer recovered property in the 800 block of Fairway and were able to locate the owner and return the property.

2:30 pm, Officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of Keith Street for a well being check.  The resident had died.  The Livingston County Coroner was contacted and took control of the body.

4:35 pm, Officers responded to the area of Third and Washington for report of a dog struck by a car.  As a result, two people were bitten while trying to help the animal.  Animal Control was contacted.

8:30 pm, Officers responded to the 1700 block of Hickory Drive on a report of possible illegal drug use.

9:15 pm, Officer responded to the area of East 36 Highway on a report of a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph.  They were unable to locate the vehicle.
