Chillicothe Police officers checked on children in a vehicle and assisted an intoxicated man Friday.
At about 8:40 pm, officers responded to a report of unattended children in a vehicle in the 1200 block of Washington Street. The arrived to find the parent standing outside the vehicle.
About 9:10 pm, officers responded to a business alarm in the 600 block of South Washington. The building was secure, and the alarm was a malfunction.
Shortly before 11:00 pm, officers received a report of an intoxicated man falling off a bicycle in the 800 block of Locust Street. They determined that the man was too intoxicated to be left on his own. A Livingston County Deputy was contacted and provided a courtesy ride to the man’s home in the county. The officers took temporary custody of his bicycle for safe keeping.
