Bishop Hogan Win Tournament Opening Games

The Bishop Hogan 7th and 8th grade basketball teams took on Chula last night in the Laredo Tournament.  The girls team beat Chula 39 to 17.  They were led by Jessica Reeter with 13 points and Delanie Kieffer with 10 points.  Also scoring for Bishop Hogan were Izzie Montgomery and Kaylynn Cranmer with 4 points each, and Bryton Bevelle, Isabelle Witt, Lilly Stedem and Avert Baxter each with 2 points.  MacKenzie Blackford led Chula with 9 points.
The Bishop Hogan boys team played Chula and won 43 to 17.  They were led by Kyan Douglas with 10 points and James Mathew with 9 points.  Also scoring for Bishop Hogan were Matty Douglas with 8 points, Jackson Reeter with 6 points, Patrick Kinsella and Carson Samm with 4 points each,  Cameron Williams with 2 points and playing time for Kaden Cranmer.  Chula was led by Cooper Murphy with 8 points.
The Bishop Hogan teams will be in action again tonight when they take on Laredo in the tournament.
