The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 134 calls for service Tuesday, including three arrests and a report of a scam.
At 2:05 am, officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street upon the report of a suspicious person and found someone asleep in a vehicle. The subject agreed that he was good to drive home.
7:15 AM, officers took a report of a scam that occurred in the 1600 block of Calhoun Street, as the victim was convinced to buy gift cards to a local store in exchange for keeping an alleged family member from being incarcerated.
At 8:30 AM, officers responded to the 900 block of Washington Street for a possible break-in. It was determined that no break-in had occurred.
At 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Business 36 for a business alarm. Officers determined the alarm was false.
At 6:35 pm, officers were called for an alleged burglary in the 100 block of 11th Street. After a short investigation officers arrested Jolene Rounkles, Johnathan Gentile and Austin Fox for alleged burglary and stealing. Â They were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
