The Chillicothe Cross Country Banquet will be held tonight at 6:00pm at the Chillicothe Commons Area. The players will be honored and the season recapped. It will be the final banquet for Coach Tim Riekena, who has already stated he will be retiring as coach after this season. Riekena has served as head Cross Country Coach for 12 years. Â During that time span, two Hornet boys cross country reams qualified for state in 2014 and 2015, and won the program’s only Conference Championship so far, in 2008. Riekena’s teams over his 12 years sent at least one runner to the State meet nine years.
