Chillicothe Fire Fighters responded to a report of smoke and possible fire Thursday morning at 305 East Bridge Street. The call came in at 8:29 and the fire crew arrived on scene at 8:32 to find smoke coming from the siding of a mobile home. Hand tools and a water extinguisher were used to put out a small amount of fire.
The resident stated they had a recreational fire near the patio the night before and a few embers may have blown over and started the fire.
Chillicothe Fire Fighters were on the scene for 14 minutes and were assisted by Chillicothe Police Department.
