Chillicothe Police Report for Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department had a busy day Monday

3:26am, Officers assisted a motorist that was stuck in snow and ice in the 300 block of Woodrow Street.

10:52am, Parking complaint in the 400 block of Calhoun Street.  Subject moving vehicle.

12:15pm, Officer spoke with a subject on the phone that had received a ticket on a car which they had sold some time back.

1:05pm, Officers assisted MoDOT with clearing snow and ice from southbound traffic signals.  lights could not be seen.

2:00pm, Officer responded to the intersection of Clay Street and US 65 in reference to a two vehicle accident. As a result, Bryce Larson was issued a Municipal Citation for failure to stop at a red light resulting in an accident.

2:02pm, Officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic in the 700 block of Chicago Street. No arrests were made.

2:29pm, Officer received a report of a lost or stolen wallet from a customer at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.

6:56pm, Officer responded to the 1600 block of Bryan Street to a report of reckless driving on snow and ice.

8:20pm, Report of a dog left in a car in the 600 block of Webster Street.  The person was found in the car with the animal.

9:50pm, Report of Domestic incident in the 1400 block of Maple Street.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of both.  They were held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

9:56pm, Received report from business in 200 block of W. Business 36 Hwy of a suspicious subject in the business utilizing the Wi-Fi.  Checked area and spoke with desk clerk.
