The Chillicothe Middle School 8th grade Boys Basketball team improved to 6-0 with a 50-30 win over St Joe Truman Middle School in the Savannah Middle School Tournament. Griff Bonderer led Chillicothe with 20, Wyatt Brandsgaard with 13, Cayden Potter had 11, Isaiah Sprong with 4 and Landon Winder with 2.
Receiving playing time were Gabe Hansen, Carson Steele, Clayton Savage, Sam Reeter and Trent Keith. The Middle School Hornets are in the Semi-finals Tonight (Friday).
The CMS 8th grade Girls team also beat St Joe Truman 35-16 in the girls tournament. Cali Burkhardt had 12 points, Bre Pithan 10, Kinlei Boley 5, Aliyah Briner 4, Hope Helton and Lainie Epperson had two each. Receiving playing time were Kristen Dunn, Kaitlyn Fleener and Lilly Basinger.
