Chillicothe Police Report More Than 200 Calls For Service Since Friday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to more than 200 calls for service since Friday.  Numerous traffic stops were made and many resulted in warnings issued.

Friday,
2:11 AM, Officers contacted subject in vehicle in a closed business parking lot in the 1300 block of North Washington Street.  Driver indicated he pulled over to take a break from driving.

7:49 AM, Officers responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident at US 65 and US 36.  One driver was cited for failure to yield causing an accident.

4:13 PM, Officers responded to business in the 500 block of North Washington for a report of a driver striking the building causing minor damage.

4:17 PM, Officer conducted traffic stop on subject in the 300 block of North Washington Street.  Driver was issued warning for speeding and cited for defective equipment.

6:10 PM, Officers assisted the Livingston County Children’s Division with a hotline call in the 1100 block of Polk Street.  The report was determined to be unfounded.

6:40 PM, Officers conducted traffic stop on subject in the 600 block of Washington Street.  The driver, Cristy Burk, was arrested for alleged driving while revoked.  She was processed, and released.

7:02 PM, Officers responded to a business in the 600 block of First Street to a report of a patron causing a disturbance.

7:07 PM, Officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 600 block of First Street.

Saturday
3:19 AM, Officers arrested Jason Love in the 600 block of Walnut Street.  The arrested was on a Linn County Warrant for alleged 2 counts of passing a bad check.  He was turned over to Linn County.

5:36 AM, Officer received report of gas drive off from a business in the 600 block of West Business 36.  They found it was accidental.

10:34 PM, Officers responded to a vehicle in the median on US 36 near Blackwell Creek.  Officer report driver lost control on wet roadway and drove into the median.  No injuries reported.

Sunday
12:07 AM, Officers responded to a report of a disturbance over money in the 200 block of North Herriford.

7:25 PM, Officer called to the business in the 800 block of West business 36 for a check well-being of a subject.  Subject was found to be safe.

9:58 PM, Officers called to the 900 block of Bryan Street to a report of a suspicious person.  No suspicious persons were located.
