The trash pick-up in Trenton will remain with Rapid Removal, at least for the next four months. The Trenton City Council considered the contract with Waste Corporation on Monday and City Administrator Ron Urton says they could not get a majority on the vote.
Urton says they council than had a motion to continue the contract with Rapid Removal for four months while they re-evaluate the bid process for the trash removal. Urton says there were several issues brought up in the discussions.
He says the council will investigate all of the options before the topic is brought back for further consideration.
