Keithley and Hibner Lead to Overtime Win

Chillicothe shook off a lackluster first half to pull off a 48-42 overtime win over Macon.
Chillicothe trailed by 16 early in the third quarter before Hunter Keithley starting hit shots and went on an 8-0 run.
Coach Darren Smith talked about Keithley’s effort in the game.

Chillicothe outscored Macon 25-11 in the second half and had a chance to win at the buzzer but missed the shot.
In overtime, Macon scored first but Jordan Hibner responded with back to back treys to take the lead for good.
Hibner finished the game with 17 points including five treys. Keithley had 15 points and nine rebounds. Maggie Pfaff had seven points. Kennedie Kieffer had four points but nine rebounds. Essie Hicks and Lucy Reeter each had two points. Laney Gaston had one point and four other Lady Hornets saw playing time.
With the 48-42 overtime win Chillicothe improves to 4-2 while Macon girls fall to 5-2.
