Chillicothe Police Were Busy Friday

The Chillicothe Police Department had 91 calls for service Friday, including several accidents and numerous traffic stops.

At about 1:00 am. Officers assisted the Sheriff’s Department with a roll over accident on Highway 190.  There were no injuries reported.

At about 8:30. Officers took a report of leaving the scene of an accident in the 1100 block of Second Street.  A suspect was identified.

About 2:00 pm, a vehicle backed into a pedestrian in the 500 block of South Washington.  The pedestrian was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Several traffic stops were reported, they include:

In the 2700 block of Washington, the driver was cited for expired plates and no insurance.
In the 600 block of Business 36 for a lane violation
In Simpson Park for defective equipment
In the 300 block of South Washington for defective equipment
In the 200 block of North Washington for expired plates
In the 300 block of North Washington for defective equipment
In the 500 block of South Washington for defective equipment
In the 100 block of Polk Street for defective equipment
And in the 300 block of South Washington for defective equipment
