Sheriff’s Report Includes Sex Offense & Cattle
Livingston County Sheriff’s Department investigations included a reported Sexual offense.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an alleged child sex offense, drug distribution and promoting prostitution. The Child Advocacy Center has assisted with interviews of the alleged victim in this case even though this person is now an adult. The Investigation continues.
On Friday, Deputies completed an investigation into multiple reports of Charloais Cattle being out of their fenced pasture and on or near traffic along Highway U on various dates and times. The owner of the cattle has been notified multiple times about the problem and potential ramifications, but the problem continues. A report will be sent to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of any charges and/or court action.
