The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department began working to locate a hunter that was lost in the Poosey Conservation Area. Sheriff Steve Cox says they received the call Tuesday at about 6:35 pm. A 74 year old hunter from Holt, MO had become lost at Poosey Conservation Area after harvesting his deer. He reported that when it became dark the hunter could not find his way out.
In a search of the Conservation Area, Agent Caleb Pryor located the man. Pryor reported the man was okay and he also assisted in loading the harvested deer.
