Chillicothe used an explosive fourth quarter to pick up a 43-33 win over Park Hill in the semi-finals of the Kearney Girls Basketball Tournament.
Park Hill had a 9-0 run in the final two minutes of the third quarter to take a two point lead heading into the final quarter.
Chillicothe Junior Hunter Keithley had just two free throws for her only points through three quarters. She exploded for 16 of the team’s 19 points in the fourth quarter for the win.
Coach Darren Smith said Keithley has the ability to take over a game.
In addition to Keithley’s 18 points and five rebounds, Kennedie Kieffer had 9 points and nine rebounds, Jordan Hibner with seven points,, Maggie Pfaff with six, Laney Gaston with three points and playing time for Magy Thomas, Haley Kidd, Essie Hicks, Catey Trout and Lucy Reeter.

Chillicothe is now 11-2 and plays Kearney Friday at 6:30pm in the Championship game.
