Filing For The April 2nd Election Is Closed

Filing for the April 2nd election closed Tuesday.

There were a few changes in the filing for the City of Chillicothe.

Mayor – Reed Dupy and Teresa Kelly
Councilman At Large – Tom Ashbrook
1st Ward – Dennis Albertson Jr and Adam B Brown
2nd Ward – Wayne Cunningham
3rd Ward – John Plaster, Jr, Buell Applebury & Michael Smith
4th Ward – Pam Jarding
City Clerk – Roze Frampton
Auditor – Hannah Fletcher – Kathy Gilliland withdrew
Constable – Jon Maples

For the Chillicothe R-II School Board, the candidates are:
For the 2 seats with a 3 year term: Bill Hayen, Clint B Williams, Carrie Pfeifer and Rick Baker.
For the one seat with one year remaining: Brice Walker and Gene Moyers

For the Livingston County Health Center Board, there are two seats available and three candidates.  They are: Harry Lockridge, Alvina Ann Benskin and Shannon L Jordan.

For the Livingston County Ambulance District, there were two openings.  For District Three, Richard B Smith filed and for District 6, Ronald Beetsma filed.  No election is needed.

Looking at some of the other school board races:

Braymer – 2 seats with two candidates: Larry Shoe and Jamie Clevenger.  There will be no election.

Breckenridge – Two seats with a three year term, the candidates are Rachel Boehm and Monica Allred.  One seat with one year remaining – April Locke.  There is no election.

Brookfield has two seats and four candidates.  They are: Rob Frock, Phillip Sensenich, Jim McIntyre and Galen “Bubby” Hicks.

Carrollton has two seats and three candidates, they are: Alvin Brownly, Eric Woodward and Diana Smith.

Chula has two seats with a three year term, the candidates are John Graves and April Gramenz.  They also have one seat with one year remaining and Diana Holcer filed for that seat.  There is no election in Chula.

Meadville has two seats and two candidates: Ben Keller and Kelly Schwager.  There is no election.

Southwest of Ludlow has two seats and three candidates: Bryce Anderson, Clint Gilliland and Stanton Warren.

Tina/Avalon has two seats and two candidates: Wyatt Davenport and Todd Rounkles.  They will not have an election.

Trenton also has two candidates for the two available seats.  They are Marcie Cutsinger and Dorothy Taul. They will not have an election.
