Chillicothe Police Report – Saturday

The Chillicothe Police had a light day on Saturday with only 45 calls for service.  Some of the calls included:

12:40 am, a suspicious vehicle was in the 600 block of Williams Street.  They were just dropping off friend.

1:35 am, Suspicious vehicle around area of Clay St. and Wise St.  vehicle located in 300 block of Martin St.  The vehicle was parked on snow route.  They were advised to move vehicle.

2:35 am, Officer found open door on a business downtown.  The building was searched and owner notified.

10:15 am, Officers searched areas of Mitchell Rd. and US 36 for reported traffic accident.  They also searched near US 36 and Rt. CC. They found no accident.

Officers had two Accidental 911 call calls in 30 minutes.  One in the 2000 block of Oaklawn Drive and the other in the area of Cedar Crest Lane.  Both were children playing with phone.

2:15 pm, Officer spoke to individual that reports their daughter was sexually abused at the prior residence in Chillicothe, subject identified and investigation continuing.

7:40 pm, Officers took a report of C & I driver, southbound on Washington St.  Officers were unable to locate.

7:50 pm, Officers picked up two little girls that were walking by themselves.  A citizen had taken them into a business at Third and Washington.  Girls had left their home without parents being aware they had gone.

8:20 pm, Officers investigated a reported disturbance, man & woman yelling, in the 200 block of Gale St.  Residents contacted and denied anything having occurred…No signs of disturbance.

8:25 pm, Responded to a report of fight at a bar.  The suspects left before officers arrived.

10:35 pm, Officers noticed a door open on a vacant house in 1800 block of Borden Street.  They searched house and owner notified, who came to scene and secured residence…
