Second Half Stumble Costs Hornets

The Chillicothe Boys Basketball team second half struggles cost them a 57-43 loss at St Pius X in a conference game.
Chillicothe led 23-17 at halftime, but were outscored 26-11 in the third quarter and could not recover.
One Pius Player hit three treys in a row in the third quarter and the Hornets were not able to bounce back, going from a seven point lead to being down by nine points in the quarter.
For the second straight night, the Junior tandem of Westley Brandsgaard and C J Pfaff carried the bulk of the Hornets scoring. Brandsgaard had 20 and Pfaff 16 points unofficially. Mason Baxter had four, William Perry had three and Peyton Forck had one. All of the other Hornets played but did not score in the game.
The Hornet Boys now have 2 days off before heading to . Joseph Benton on Friday, a team they lost to early in the season in the Savannah Tournament.
