The Chillicothe Post Master suspended the delivery of mail today due to the extreme conditions and called the carriers back to the post office.
Mails service is expected to resume as normal on Thursday.
While some areas of the country will have mail service suspended due to the Arctic Blast, Chillicothe’s mail will be delivered. Local postal officials, after discussions with their superiors, explained their are only certain parts of the country that are included in the suspended service and Chillicothe is not one of those area.
If you see your mail carrier out making the rounds today, show some encouragement and thank them for their hard work in these extreme conditions.
