The St Joseph Benton Lady Cardinals used a strong third quarter to beat Chillicothe 52-36 in conference play. It was Senior Night for the Lady Hornets basketball team.
The two teams were tied after the first and second quarters. After a scoreless first four minutes of the third quarter, Benton outscored Chillicothe 17-3.

Chillicothe was led by Kennedie Kieffer with 12 points, Jordan Hibner with eight, Maggie Pfaff with five, Hunter Keithley with four, Laney Gaston with three, Brooke Horton and Magy Thomas with two points.
Everyone else that dressed out for the game also played.
Benton had three players in double figures and improved to 17-2 on the season. They are also unbeaten in Conference play.

Chillicothe won the two under card games against Benton. In the Junior Varsity game, Haley Kidd tied the game with 10 seconds left. In Overtime Josie Reeter hit a short layup with a second left for the 46-45 victory.
Kiley Kirkpatrick had 10, Brooke Horton with 9, Selby Miller and Haley Kidd both had six points. Montana Plattner and Ella Leamer each had four points, Josie Reeter and Maya Snyder each had three points.
In the C-Team game, Chillicothe won 36-22. Quincey Jessen had 9 points, Essie Hicks with 8, Lucy Reeter with 7, Clara Leamer with 6, Kaylee Munson with 4 and Selby Miller with 2.
