Two injury accidents in the area counties were investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol Tuesday.
At about 5:10 pm in Carroll County, a single vehicle accident left the driver with minor injuries. Twenty-seven year old Kelsie O’Neal was eastbound on Highway 10 when she slid off the road, hit the ditch and her vehicle overturned. She was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
At about 7:20 pm in Sullivan County, a single vehicle accident left a passenger with minor injuries. Thirty-seven year old Melissa Smith of Milan was eastbound on Highway 6 when she ran off the road and her vehicle overturned. She was not injured, but her 16 year old passenger, Lacy Smith, had minor injuries and was taken to Sullivan County Hospital for treatment. They were wearing safety belts.
