Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

Chillicothe Police responded to nearly 80 calls for service Friday.

7:00 am, Officers were dispatched to a commercial burglary alarm in the 1000 block of Graves Street. The alarm was accidentally activated.

8:35 am, Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at Graves and South Street. Officers reported minor damage to the vehicles and no injuries.

11:05 am, Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle accident at Third and Southwest Drive. Officers reported a vehicle that was westbound on Third slid on ice and struck a sign post causing minor damage.

11:30 am, Officers were dispatched to Third Street and Southwest Drive for a two vehicle accident. Officers reported one vehicle was unable to slow down on the icy pavement and struck the other vehicle in the rear causing minor damage. No injuries were reported.

11:50 am, Officers investigated a report of stealing from a business in the 1300 block of N. Washington Street. The incident remains under investigation.

12:30 pm, Officers responded to a stalled vehicle on Washington Street near Park Lane. The motorist had ran out of gasoline and was waiting for help.

1:15 pm, Officers took a report of property damage in the 1000 block of Graves Street. A semi had struck a light pole on private property causing damage and then left without reporting the incident.

 

Officers also checked on stranded motorists and abandon vehicles.
