A Trenton man was involved in a serious injury accident between a farm tractor and a semi Friday morning in Mercer County. The Missouri Highway Patrol report 44 year old Gilbert Lawson of Princeton had serious injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton following the accident at about 10:00 am on US 65, four miles north of Princeton. According to the report, Lawson was southbound on the shoulder of US 65 in the tractor and was making a turn when he was struck by the semi driven by 44 year old Timothy Spickard of Trenton. The semi ran off the road and overturned, but Spickard was not injured.
