The Brookfield Police Department reported several items from earlier this week.
February 10th at about 9:10 pm, officers arrested 45 year old Luella Hewitt of Laclede, on a Linn County warrant for alleged Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hewitt was taken to the Macon County Jail pending the posting of $25,000 bond.
Officers arrested 54 year old Charles Ellis of Kansas City February 10th at about 9:10 pm on a Probation/Parole warrant for alleged Dangerous Drugs. He was taken to the Macon County Jail with no bond allowed.
Theft/Stealing was investigated late Sunday night. Officers responded to a business on East Canal Street. The report indicates a white folding table was taken from the business earlier that evening. Video shows a woman exited the business with the table at about 9:15 pm. The investigation continues.
A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in the arrest of 40 year old Susan Gannan of Brookfield. The reports she didn’t have a valid operator’s license. She was arrested taken to the Brookfield Police Department, processed and released.
