The 12th annual Shortgrass Chapter of Quail Forever banquet is this Saturday at the Litton Ag Center. The banquet begins at 5:00 pm and includes games for kids and drawings for both kids and adults, Dinner is at 6:30 and the live auction to follow.
David Figg from Quail Forever says they have a great opportunity for all of the kids that attend.
Figg says the banquet is a fund raiser that helps support the activities of the chapter.
Funds raised at the banquet are used to help preserve wildlife habitat. Figg says they will work with private land owners on habitat improvement for Quail and other wildlife. One area they excel in is working on a controlled burn.
Tickets for Saturday’s Quail Forever Banquet are $55 for a single, $65 for a couple and $15 for youth, with a break on the tickets for multiple kids, contact David Figg at 752-6787 or Cory Minnis at 646-9421. Tickets will also be available at the door.
