Chillicothe Junior Jordan Hibner set a new school basketball mark during the Lady Hornets loss to Trenton on Friday night.
Hibner hit two three-point shots to set a new school record for made three point shots in a season, with 71. The record tying and record setting shots both occurred in the fourth quarter.
Hibner broke the old mark of 70 treys in a season that was held by Richelle Barrett since 1994-95. Hibner had the fourth best mark at the end of her Sophomore season with 42 last year. She is now the only Lady Hornet to ever have more than 40 treys in two seasons as a Lady Hornet Varsity player.
Hibner needs just 23 treys as a Senior to beat the current career treys made in school history, currently held by Hannah Jones from 2014 to 2017.
