National Weather Service Meteorologists will present Storm Spotter Training at various location in the local area. The free program is offered in the area to give anyone interested in storm spotting or better understanding severe weather, an opportunity to hear from the experts. You will learn what to look for and what you should do in the event of severe weather.
Storm Spotter classes are:
- Thursday at 7:00 pm in Chariton County at the Salisbury Ambulance Base
- March 4th at 6:00 pm at the Grundy County Courthouse in Trenton
- March 7th at 7:00 pm in Livingston County at the Calvary Baptist Church Family Life Center in Chillicothe
- March 13th at 7:00 pm at the Rupe Center in Carrollton
Anyone interested in learning more about weather or storm spotting is encouraged to attend.
