Chillicothe Police Report Includes An Accident And Two Arrests

The Chillicothe Police Department reports 87 calls for service Thursday.  Among the calls were one accident and two arrests.

10:50 am, School Resource Officer reported an incident at the Middle School with an out of control juvenile.  The student was sent home with parents.

11:30 am, took a report of the theft of license plates in the 200 block of Samuel Street.

1:05 pm, Officers arrested Cody Minard in the 10 block of South Washington Street on a Probation and Parole warrant.  Minard was transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

1:55 pm, Officers responded to a multi-vehicle accident in the 600 block of Washington Street.  A vehicle that was driven by Ronald Singer was southbound swerved into and sideswiped three parked vehicles.  No injuries were reported; Singer was cited for Careless & Imprudent Driving.

3:05 pm, Officers assisted Children’s Division with a reported child abuse case in the 100 block of John F. Kennedy Avenue.

4:15 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street to a report of a person acting suspiciously.   The person was found to be sitting in a vehicle that was not hers.   She was also found to be in need of medical attention and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.  Officers also found the woman had an active warrant and she was arrested after treatment and was taken the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

8:40 pm, Officers were called to the 800 block of Woodward Street for a person in need of medical attention.  That person was to be taken for evaluation at local medical facility by parents.
