Chillicothe city Council Considers 2019/20 Budget Monday

The Chillicothe City Council meets Monday night for consideration of the 2019/20 budget.  There will be NO Finance Workshop.  The regular session begins at 6:30 pm at City Hall and includes two bids and the annual service contract.

The bids to be presented include for Chip Seal projects for city streets and the mowing bid is for nuisance mowing and assisting the parks department as needed.

The council will also amend the current Chillicothe City Budget as they close out the 2018/19 fiscal year.

The 2019/20 budget will be presented for approval.

Under appearances, The Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is requesting having a Carnival at Simpson Park during Sliced Bread Days in Chillicothe, July 5th to the 7th.

City Clerk Roze Frampton will present the service contracts for the city.

She will also present the contract for Economic Development consulting services with Rumery & Associates.  The ordinance includes the reimbursement agreement with CMU, CDC and Farmers Electric Cooperative.

An executive session is planned for personnel items.
