The Men’s Basketball Team at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville will play for the NCAA Division II National Championship. The Bearcats improved to 37-0 on the season with a convincing 76-53 semi-final win over Saint Anselm of New Hampshire on Thursday.
Northwest was led by Trevor Hudgins with 27 points, 6 steals and 4 assists, Ryan Hawkins with 14 points and 14 rebounds, Joey Witthus with 13 points and Diego Bernard with 13 points and five rebounds.
The Bearcats will take on Point Loma at 31-4 on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
